With the absence of an artist (or the artistic talent I need/want) I've been throwing myself into the writing much more. Starting the fourth major story arc already which seems crazy based on the fact page one of story arc one is still lacking art but what the hell, might as well write it down while I'm thinking about it.
Oh yea, I'm also already planning the first major spin-off series. Can you say illusions of grandeur? Sure you can.
So beyond the fact that I've been ranting about this project for quite a while now I haven't really said much about it and that's both to protect the story hook that IMO makes it unique and also because I hate discussing story ideas until I have them solidified. But I do want to talk a little about the project in broad strokes.
I've wanted to do a webcomic for a long time but never have because of time constraints. Before that I wanted to get into print comics and nearly broke into the indie publishing scene but missed it by THAT much, then packed up the dream and went to college to get a "real" job. So this project would scratch a few itches for me. The intention is to obviously do a superhero comic, but the plan is to have it on the web with the format hopefully being more like a print comic. Meaning 24 pages in each issue, each issue having a "cover" and each major story arc basically being a "mini-series." One of the reasons I've never really taken the plunge into web comics is because I know the work load to do regular updates would probably kill me in conjunction with my real job. This format would allow me to have minor down time between "issues" and slightly longer downtime between "mini-series." This format would also make it easier to transition to printed books if there was ever a demand for such. That's the theory anyway.
I really wish I was putting this story out for people to read already because I'm proud of it and it's a comic that I know I would like to read. And I even gave serious thought to turning into a novel but it wouldn't be the same without the visual element. So I'm holding out for the art worthy to go with the story, when that happens, I'll see you in the funny papers!

Outlaw and Oscar
It's been a while since I've done or posted anything creative here but I haven't been completely idle. My buddy Oscar and I have started a Let's Play series of videos starting with a simple one covering one of the final battles in the game "Shadow of Mordor." This vid was mainly to test whether or not the tools I had were sufficient to make a video, turns out they are. Check out our FaceBook page here

Later this week I'll have the first video up in a series about Fallout 4. Cheers.
A legend has passed from this world
I've been waffling back and forth between listening to a ton of the Ramones to no Ramones at all and back again since I heard the news that Tommy Ramone died last week.
The Ramones are one of my all time favorite bands and their influence on modern music can't be dismissed or probably even fully appreciated. It's espescially amazing since they never quite gained mainstream popularity despite the incredible talent and sheer volume of their catalog. Just about everyone knows who they were and most people have at least heard one or two of their most popular songs (Blitzkrieg Bop, I wanna be sedated and Rockaway beach for instance) and that's
Llama woes
This has been bugging me for a few weeks so I figured I'd get it off my chest. Normally if I get a llama for any reason I give one back. I haven't been able to do so lately and every time I see the list of people who have given me llama's grow even larger it annoys me.
Short story is the llama interface causes the browser on the PC I've been on lately to freeze up. If I was on my home PC this wouldn't be an issue, but I haven't been on it in a while, normally when I'm not on this one I'm on my phone and the DA mobile interface isn't very reliable either. One of these days I'll be back on my PC and have a llama gifting party but until the
Back home again
I've been back in the United States since Saturday night and back to work since Monday morning. Adjusting to my work schedule again after two weeks off has been hellish but I think I'll survive, I just need more caffiene. (A LOT more.)
But on this trip I noticed I apparently have the bizarre habit of carrying things with me across the world without ever actually making use of them. For example:
I bought the Harry Dresden novel "Changes" when it first came out. That book has travelled with me to numerous points across the US and now to Mexico and back and I JUST finished reading it. (It was good and I immediately went out and bought the
